MARTINSPORTS

Terms of Use

Using MartinSports

By creating an account or using MartinSports you agree to these terms. You must be old enough to agree to them where you live, and the app is for adults (rated 17+, 18+ on Apple’s rating scale).

MartinSports is an app by AG Development LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. These terms are an agreement between you and AG Development LLC.

Keep your login safe; you’re responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person; don’t share it or pretend to be someone else.

Information only, no betting

Odds and lines from FanDuel are shown for information only. MartinSports doesn’t take bets, place bets, link to sportsbooks, or pay anyone for sending you to one. You can hide the lines on Scores in Account → Display.

Scores, stats, injuries, news, weather and lines come from third-party providers and may be late or wrong. Don’t rely on them for anything important.

Martin AI

Martin AI gives information and opinions based on the data we have. It can be wrong, and nothing it says is a guarantee or financial advice. You decide what to do with it.

Martin doesn’t give betting advice and doesn’t analyze lines. The one place he sees lines is Odds → Research, where he can state the FanDuel lines we show and explain what the terms mean, as information only; he still declines anything that asks what to bet.

Free accounts get 5 questions in total (plus, in the phone apps, up to 2 a day for watching a short ad); Martin AI Pro has unlimited questions, within fair-use limits. Pro also includes alerts and tools such as the lineup check, weather alerts and the waiver wire assistant; they are information, not a promise.

Pick’em

Pick’em leagues are just for fun: no money, no entry fees and no prizes. Picks lock when a game starts. Other members see your username and your picks once a game has started.

Community rules

Follow the Community Guidelines in the app. No hate, harassment, threats, spam or illegal content. Accounts need to be a day old before they can chat. Messages that break the rules are removed and count as a strike: 3 strikes pause chat for 24 hours, 5 for 7 days, and after that chat is turned off for good. We may also remove content, limit chat, or close accounts that break the rules.

You keep ownership of what you post, and you let us show it in the app.

Martin AI Pro subscriptions

Pro is sold through Apple or Google and billed to your App Store or Google Play account. It renews automatically until you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

Promo codes are store codes (Apple Offer Codes and Google Play promo codes) and follow the store’s rules. Pro that MartinSports gives you (for example as a thank-you) lasts for the time shown and can be ended by us.

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Connecting fantasy accounts (Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN)

You can connect your own fantasy teams so they show up in MartinSports. Only connect accounts that are yours.

MartinSports isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by ESPN, Sleeper or Yahoo. Their services, and their own terms, are theirs; they may change or stop what the app can read at any time, and then a connected team may stop updating.

ESPN: by connecting, you let the MartinSports app on your phone use your ESPN sign-in to read your ESPN fantasy football leagues, roster and matchups for you, and to make lineup and roster changes to your own team only when you confirm them. You are responsible for the changes you confirm; check them in ESPN, especially before games lock. How we get it: You sign in on ESPN’s own page inside the app. Your password goes straight to ESPN; MartinSports never sees it. ESPN then gives your phone a sign-in pass (two ESPN cookies), and the app uses it to read your ESPN fantasy football leagues, your roster, your lineup, your league’s standings and this week’s matchup directly from ESPN, the same way the ESPN app does. It checks ESPN again when you open My Players and about once a minute while it’s open. What stays on your phone: Your ESPN sign-in pass is stored only on this phone, in its secure storage (the iPhone Keychain or Android Keystore), encrypted by your phone and locked to this device. It is never sent to MartinSports’ servers, so it can’t leak from them. The phone also remembers any waiver claims you sent through the app, so it can tell you later whether they went through; that list stays on the phone too. What we keep: Only what we need to show your team and give fantasy advice: your league’s name and number, your team name and number, the players on your team with their positions, lineup spots and fantasy points, your league’s settings (lineup spots, scoring, roster limits and IR spots) and which players are on other teams in your league (so the waiver wire shows only available players; names and positions, never who owns them). That is the same kind of information we keep for Sleeper and Yahoo teams. When you ask Martin a waiver question, the app also sends him ESPN’s list of available players in your league with ESPN’s projections; it is used for that answer and not stored. Changes only when you confirm: If you choose “Make these changes” (from Martin’s suggestions or Edit lineup), the app shows exactly what it will do to your ESPN team (start, bench, add, drop or a waiver claim) and sends it to ESPN from your phone only after you tap Confirm, one change at a time, then checks ESPN to show what went through. It never changes anything on its own, and never touches anyone else’s team. What we never do: We never ask for or store your ESPN password, never keep your ESPN sign-in on our servers, never change your ESPN team without your confirmation, never post or message as you, never make trades, never use ESPN for scores or stats, and never share your ESPN information with anyone. How to stop: Tap Log out under Import to erase the ESPN sign-in from this phone (your imported team stays; remove it under Your teams). Changing your ESPN password, or signing out of all devices on ESPN, also ends it. Deleting your MartinSports account removes your teams.

Yahoo: you sign in on Yahoo’s own page; MartinSports never sees your Yahoo password. Yahoo then gives us read-only access to your Yahoo fantasy football teams through Yahoo’s official Fantasy Sports API, so we can read your leagues, your roster, your league’s settings and scoring, your waiver budget, your league’s standings and which players are on teams in your league. We can’t change anything on Yahoo. Yahoo’s sign-in pass (a “refresh token”) is kept only on our servers, never in the app, and is used only to update your Yahoo teams (once a day, before game days, and about once a minute while My Players is open). Tap Disconnect Yahoo under Import to delete it from our servers (your imported teams stay until you remove them); you can also remove MartinSports in your Yahoo account settings. Deleting your MartinSports account deletes it too.

Fantasy points and matchups come from the fantasy service and may lag or differ from its own app; the service’s own numbers are the official ones.
